Manaslu Trekking

Manaslu trekking falls among the most scenic and fascinating trekking trails in the western region of the geographically vibrant Nepal. The Manaslu trekking takes to the eighth highest peak of the world, Mt. Manaslu at 8163. The Annapurna Coservation Area Permit, Manaslu Conservation Area Project Permit as well as Restricted Area Permit must be taken before the trekking begins.

The Manaslu region offers a mesmerizing and spectacular view of the panoramic snow covered Annapurna Masstiff and the Dhaulagiri peaks. On the backdrop of the Manaslu region is the beautiful Ganesh Himal as well. The up close view of the SamdoHimal, Nirekha, Saula, and Khyang can be seen through the trek.

The Manaslu Trekking route begins from Arughat and leads eventually towards MachaKhola. The Manaslu trekking has become one of the most famous teahouse style trekking. The trek leads to SamaGaun which has very warm Gurung locals residing in the area. The Manaslu Trekking route takes to the the swift flowing BudhiGandaki river along the way to the Lrkya La Pass which is the highest point of the trek. It is known to be challenging and demanding sine there are probabilities of storms. There are four frozen lakes which lie below which is equally mesmerizing. The rugged terrain leads to the Buddhist valley influenced by the Tibet culture.

The Manaslu region is home to a wide range of flora and fauna and wildlife like the snow leopard, grey wolf, blue sheep, Himalayan Thar, and more. The brilliant scenes of HimlungHimal, Kangurru, and Annapurna II are observed beautifully. The trek eventually leads to DusdhKoshi which is the tributary of the Marsyangdi.
