Originally hailing from Gorkha district (Manaslu Region), Jog Gurung has been a guide with Himalayan Partner Treks for 8 years. He is a senior leading guide with more than 9 years of experience. While he is an expert when it comes to his home territory including Everest region—where he capably guides trekkers to Everest Base Camp and around the manaslu Circuit—Jog   has also developed an extensive knowledge of the Manaslu Circuit and Upper Mustang. With his warm smile and booming laugh, Jog quickly becomes a favorite among trekkers, helping them relax during tough parts of the trek. He is very interested in sustainable trekking practices and works hard to inform travelers about how they can reduce their impact.
