Best Time to Visit Nepal for This Tour
Nepal is beautiful every time of the year. But for this 10-day Pokhara,Sarangkot Trek & Chitwan adventure, some months are just perfect.
- Autumn (September - November): This is probably the best season for a Nepal tour. The sky is clear. Mountains are sharp and bright, the air is fresh, and trekking is easy this time. Sunrise at Sarangkot is magical, and this season is also perfect for spotting rhinos and birds.
- Spring (March - May): Flowers everywhere during the spring season. Hills and villages look alive. The temperatures are nice, not too hot. This is a comfortable season to walk around and for trekking too.
- Winter (December - February): Winter brings cold, especially in the hills. But the skies are crystal clear, the mountains look unreal, and the wildlife in Chitwan is easier to spot. So, pack warm clothes.
- Monsoon (June - August): Monsoon brings rain, slippery trails, swollen rivers, and views are sometimes hidden behind clouds. But jungles are green like crazy and waterfalls look tunning too.
Honestly, if it’s your first time in Nepal, come during the Autumn or Spring season. These seasons help you in all ways.
Cost of 10-Day Nepal Tour Package

For this Nepal tour package covering Pokhara, Ghandruk trek, and Chitwan National Park safari, the price usually falls between $1,300 to $1,500 per person. The cost mainly depends on a few things. Your hotel category, flights or road travel, private or group tour, and also the season you travel. Still, you’ll spend a little extra during the trip. Things like drinks, tips, or optional activities like paragliding or any other more. Our packages already include flights, private road transport, best hotels, trekking permits, guides, and jungle activities. Difficulty Level of Short Annapurna Trek (Ghandruk to Kande)
This Ghandruk trek is not too hard. You’ll walk through villages, on stone paths, forest trails, and sometimes on stairs. This trek is enough to feel it in your legs, but not enough to make you regret it.
You’ll start your trek from Ghandruk. It is a charming Gurung village at 1,940m. From Ghandruk, we walk to Landruk (1,565m) through forests, small streams, terraced fields, and village life all around. You’ll walk at an easy pace. From Landruk, we head to Australian Camp (2,060m). You’ll see the open mountain views from here. The sunset here is unforgettable. It is also a perfect photo spot. Finally, we trek down to Kande from there we'll drive to Sarangkot (1,600m), which is the perfect sunrise point everyone dreams about. Early morning, you’ll watch the first light hit Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. Words don’t do justice to this magical view.
Altitude is also chill in this trek. You’ll start around 1,940m in Ghandruk. You’ll see peaks around 2,060m at Australian Camp. From Sarangkot, the altitude gets lower again. So, there is no big risk of altitude sickness, but a little breeze and cold morning air are real.
You don’t need to be a pro trekker for this trek. Just basic fitness and a little spirit of adventure is needed. Slow pace works fine. You’ll stop, breathe, click photos, and keep going. The trails of this trek are easy. You’ll see locals smile. Tea houses welcome you, and little villages feel safe.
Honestly, if you can walk a few hours comfortably, you’ll be fine. And the views are totally worth it in every step.
