Best Time to Visit Manaslu Circuit Trek

The Manaslu region is beautiful all year round. But some seasons are better than others. Weather, trails, and views matter. So you need to pick the right time, and then the trek feels perfect. If you pick the wrong one, it can be tough. Mostly, Spring and Autumn are considered the best seasons for the Manaslu Circuit Trek. So, let’s see what each season in Manaslu feels like:

  • Spring (March - May): Trails are clear and beautiful. Mountains shine, and wildflowers are everywhere. Villages wake slowly, and prayer flags flutter in the wind. The weather is nice, and the trek feels alive during the spring season.
  • Autumn (September - November):Autumn is another beautiful time for Manaslu Circuit Trek. The air is crisp, and the sky is bright this time. The views of Manaslu and other peaks never end. Days are warm and nights are cool. This season is perfect for walking and taking photos.
  • Winter (December - February): Winter brings very cold weather in the mountains. Snow blocks some passes of Manaslu. Trails are slippery due to the snow. Winter is only for the people with brave hearts. Winter also brings peaceful trails with the best views. But this season is not ideal for luxury trekking.
  • Monsoon (June - August): Monsoon brings rainy, slippery, and messy trails. Landslides are possible. Visibility of the mountains is low. Trekking is risky during the rainy season. So it is best to skip this season.
