Phuri Sherpa  hails from Solukhumbu district in Everest region and has been guiding climbing trips  for over a decade. He is a specialist in technical climbs and has received Basic Rock & Ice Climbing training from the Nepal Mountaineering Association, a 12-day KCC Advanced Course, and Wilderness First Responder certification from NOLS.
